Thanks for sharing the names of other sites. I am constantly looking for additional sites to get new ideas (or reinforce old ones) and you made my research a little easier. This is the first time I visited your site and I will be back.

You had me, you totally had me, until you plugged your own site. Made me question the veracity of all the other sources – and I was psyched as I was reading your article, as I’ve heard of some of these but not all of them. So, from a marketing standpoint, I’m a purist, I suppose. If you’re gonna plug yourself, great, but not in a list of things you should know … just bugged me and I felt like I’d been played a bit.

Small Town Marketing.Com concentrates its articles and tips on business owners in small towns and rural communities. The big marketing sites don’t address things like small populations, lack of media in the area, rural vs. townies, the small town traditions and cultures, or competing with nearby big cities.
