Inbox Empire Review – What I Like

Frankly, I love the Inbox Empire model.  It’s simple to understand.  It’s passive (meaning it only takes a little bit of time a day and can reap huge rewards).  It’s non-scammy.

You don’t need to learn lots about pay per click or SEO or copywriting.  In fact, you don’t need to learn much of anything…  And the biggest information publishers in the world are banking with it, and have been for 10 or 15 years!

That’s the coolest thing.  It’s a long tail business model that hasn’t gone out of style.  With the Inbox Magazines method, you don’t need to jump on every new product launch and every new product…  It doesn’t matter!  You’ve got your list and your people and you’re making money!

Frankly, there isn’t much that I don’t like about Inbox Empire.  The content is simple and easy to understand.  The techniques are easy to implement.  You don’t need to be a marketing genius or a tech guru to get the job done.  It just works!

One of the most misunderstood ideas about Internet marketing is the autoreponder.

Truly, I talk to some of the most successful people in the world, who have built million dollar bricks and mortar businesses, who don’t fully understand the power of having a correctly configured autoresponder.

Aweber is an email marketing platform that let’s you collect and mail to your leads, prospects or customers in two ways: automatically or whenever you deem necessary.

When you mail to them automatically, it’s considered an autoresponder.  Set up the emails once and it goes from there.

When you send a single email to your list, it’s considered a ‘broadcast.’

Now, those emails can do anything you want.  You can drive them to a blog post, a video, a sign up page…  Anything you want!

The power really lies in the technology behind the Aweber autoresponder itself.  It’s very easy to set up and use and will serve you well as your email marketing/list management tool!

Aweber Review – What I Like

After signing up for Aweber, it took me a few days to really figure out email marketing, but once I did I started making a lot of money with it.

The Aweber autoresponder is my most favorite feature because it allows me to set up an email marketing campaign once and then let it ride.  All it takes from me is a little tweaking here and there depending on where I want to send traffic.

Now, I’m by no means the best in the world at it, but if I can figure it out, anyone can!

Aweber Review – What I Don’t Like

One thing about Aweber that I don’t particularly like is the fact that segmenting a list is a bit difficult.  In order to segment a list you have to create a new list and add that user to it.

I prefer a system like InfusionSoft where the user is added once and is simply ‘tagged’ with all the lists that he/she is on.

The major difference is price though!  Aweber starts out with a $1 trial and the first plan is $19/month while InfusionSoft has pretty low caps and starts out at $199/month!  That’s why I stick with Aweber!

Aweber Review – Overall Thoughts

If you’re looking for an awesome autoresponder/email marketing system, Aweber is the software of choice.  Its easy to set up, configure, use and (perhaps most importantly…) it’s cheap!

Like I said before, the $1 trial is a bargain for all the power you get and in no time it will be making you a lot of money in your business!

Lately, I’ve been answering a lot of questions from coaching clients about email autoresponder software…

So, what I thought I’d do is put together a quick article on why having autoresponder software in your business is crucial, and close with a few resources on how to get started with it.

Now, just remember the backend is where the real money is – use the front end product to lure people into your marketing machine. This is something almost anyone can do, and it is not hard to put into practice, either.

All you have to do is attract people from whatever your niche is into your overall marketing process, and then you sell to them – again and again. You will use your front end product to attract people in your market, and then you work your magic with the autoresponder software.

… The real profits come in when they start the backend promotion.

The only way you can do this is if you take action and put your offers in front of your audience. You do need to build an email marketing list because that is the fundamental instrument for backend selling. It’s a golden opportunity for you to expose them to your other backend products and see if they would be interested in them.

If they opted in but did not buy yet, then that means they are interested but just need a little more time. Once someone buys from you, then you move that person to another list – a list where you repeat the process but with higher ticket products.

In fact, you will often see people using the “thank you” page to introduce new products or advertise them. Why let this page go to waste when you have the opportunity to showcase your backend product?

Marketers do this because it does make sense since your customers are ready and willing to buy. So if you can convince them that buying your other product will give them more value and help them reach their targeted solution easier, they might just go for it.

One of the reasons this works so well is simply because the customer is now your customer – there is trust and that person is open to buying.

Using autoresponder software, you can see we have seen some highly creative approaches with backend marketing, and a lot of times you just have to test. Make the effort to do something meaningful for your customers so they know you are grateful for their business. Along with the card, you can insert a small, effective advertisement about your backend product. Try to put something together that is just so special they cannot possibly pass it up.

In conclusion, as an Internet marketer it’s important to understand that there are a number of ways to increase your profits and take your online business to the next level. Backend selling plays a major role in all of it and helps you enhance your overall sales count. You should become more knowledgeable about it so you will maximize your potential.

The beauty of backend marketing is that it’s hands off once you get it started.  You don’t need to worry about finding new customers or leads so that you make sales…  It’ll all be done for you through your autoresponder software!

Email Newsletter Service

An email newsletter is a great and convenient way to communicate with your clients and prospects. You can easily build your own email newsletter by hand, but as your network grows there will come a point that newsletter making and recipient list managing becomes tedious; and that may consume your time in further focusing on your product or campaign.

Don’t waste your time on this and get an email newsletter service. There are many email newsletter services that you can get from the Internet. The service that you should look for must have the following features:

1. Built-in editor. Instead of wasting your time on creating newsletter templates (or even hiring of designers) your service should have a built-in editor. This editor should have functions to make customized templates or pull templates from the web that you can use and should be able to add in variable sections that your service can plug in any variable information.
2. Email list manager. The service should do all the work in managing your email list. It should be able to distinguish between opt-in and opt-out emails to adhere with email policies.
3. Scheduler. Your email newsletter service should be able to send out your newsletters in a timely manner. All you have to do is schedule what newsletters to send and on what recipients should they go to.
4. Sender. As your email list grows so is the time in sending newsletters. Your service should have a powerful sender that can manage the sending for you. You may need to consider that your sender should adhere to email sending policies in order to guarantee that your newsletters are always delivered not as junk to your correspondent’s mailboxes.
5. Reporting Tool. As your newsletters are sent you would want to make sure that you know whether it reached to your correspondent’s mailboxes or their junk folders or even perhaps if your newsletter bounced back. Reporting tools are needed that can give you statistical overviews on whether or not you need to further enhance your newsletter and/or your email list.

Of course with all features listed you will have to look for an email newsletter service that is affordable and should better suit your needs.

Opt In Emails

The key to online marketing is to build up opt in emails.

For starters the first thing you need to do is to create your marketing database. Your database should be able to hold information like the name and the email address, and should be able to distinguish whether if the particular email is registered as an opt-in or opt out.

Once you have your database setup then you’re ready to make your sign-up form. This form should be on your website. Your sign-up form should at least contain a prompt for the email address. Down the road you can get the information you need as you build the relationship with the people on your list. Place your sign-up form on all pages of your site and not just on the home page. Your correspondents may have just landed from a web search result and so it is important that there’s always the open door of opportunity that they can subscribe and be added to your list of opt in emails.

Then with the sign-up form in place you can now start posting benefit-based invitations. Good places will be on your website’s home page, in social sites where it links to your website or it can be off the Internet like on flyers or on TV commercials (or even by word of mouth is a good place). As a tip add on to your sign-up form confirmation and welcome messages. This is a good start to build a relationship with your correspondent signing in to your list. Remember that the invitation is benefit-based, meaning that you have to state with transparency the benefits that you are offering.

With everything setup all you need to do is to build the trust. Do email communications on a consistent and regular basis. Reach out to your subscribers – be it announcements and campaigns. Make sure that you have tools to help you manage your opt in emails and as well as tools for your subscribers to manage their subscription like information prompts. You can add to your tool forwarding options that can let your subscribers share their subscription experience to colleagues or friends and help propagate your website. It may take a long road to build up your list, but as long as you have what it takes to build relationships to your subscribers it can give you what it also takes to earn long term sustainable revenues.
