There’s no doubt about it…  Video is driving a lot of the buying decisions that people are facing online right now.

I mean, if Amazon is using video to promote their Kindle – and everything Apple is doing has a video accompanying it – it’s safe to say that that’s the future of Internet marketing, right?

Well, there’s only one problem.  Video is tough!

There’s capturing the video.  Editing the video.  Making it look nice.  Doing relevant soundtracks and audio…  There are so many different areas that need to be mastered in order to do it successfully!

Sure, you can hire someone to do that stuff for you…  But, as you know, they’re expensive :0)

I know.  I’ve hired my fair share of work out!

So, that leaves learning about it.

Video Boss Review – What I Liked

The thing I liked about Video Boss the best, when I took it last year, was the video editing and production training.  I understand and implement a lot of marketing best practices, but combining them with video has proven to be very powerful.

Video Boss taught me how to create, structure, edit and produce really awesome video content.  Quite frankly though, I learned the stuff and quickly turned a couple products around..  Those did well and then I started outsourcing stuff…  Guess what?  I gave my outsourcers the training and now they do the videos for me :0)

The Video Boss training is complete and easy to get through.  It’s also very easy to implement, which is important to me!

Video Boss Review – What I Didn’t Like

One thing I didn’t like at first about Video Boss was that most of the training was based on a Mac.  By saying that, I don’t want PC users to get worried, because they’ve got training for PC users and PC software as well.  It was just really clear that things are so much easier on a Mac!

What I did was learn everything I could with a PC, make a few video marketing funnels, and then upgraded my PC with the profits from my Video Boss videos :0)  That’s how I dealth with the problem!

So, if you’re running a PC, don’t worry.  You’ve got everything you need to do video successfully.  Just know that you’ll want to upgrade to a Mac at some point because it’s infinitely easier to do some pretty complex video editing with one!

Video Boss Review – Overall Thoughts

If you want to upgrade your video marketing, or start using video in your sales sequence and marketing funnels in the future, Video Boss is a sure bet for you.  You will get more out of the course in the first week than you would in months going through other stuff, and it’s infinitely cheaper than hiring someone to do your video for you!

Before I stumbled on WP Video Magic, I found quite a few lesser quality WordPress Video Sitemap plugins.  Sure, they were free but they would generate errors everytime I checked my stats in Google Webmaster tools.

Now, I love SEO and what I do works pretty well, and I hate to see errors in Webmaster tools.  You know that Google takes all that into consideration when ranking your site!  Why risk it off of a subpar plugin?

Anyway, WP Video Magic is easy to set up and works really, really well.  My videos were indexed almost immediately and I started getting a lot more traffic to them overall.

WP Video Magic Review – What I Don’t Like

There was one thing that I didn’t like about WP Video Magic and it actually had nothing to do with the plugin, but with the bundled make money online training.

There were some places in it that didn’t make sense.  For instance, I understand that you have to find a niche, do a video, etc; but the owner didn’t tell you what kind of video to make!

I emailed him and he said a simple voice-over-powerpoint video which was easy to do…  After that, I started making a few bucks from affiliate programs which made me really happy!

WP Video Magic Review – Overall Thoughts

If you’ve got a WordPress site and you’re doing video, you need the WP Video Magic plugin.  Hands down.  It gets your content ranked quickly and you start getting traffic within a few days, which is well worth the price of admission!  The best price, the traffic doesn’t stop :0)

The first time I heard about Mojo Matrix, I was a little weird about it. I’ve played around with video marketing to a certain extent and I’ve done a lot with mobile, but to converge the two? Pretty crazy.

These guys are on to something though. They’re taking the best parts of mobile and video, combining it with SMS/text messages, and giving you a system to leverage the three mediums with some easy to use software. It’s really a pretty powerful thing.

Now, frankly, it’s a bit hard to explain in a blog post, but they do a good job in their webinar detailing the exact steps used to create these killer marketing funnels.

Mojo Matrix is a software suite that gives you the capability of collecting leads through mobile devices, building a list or a database or prospects, and then marketing to that list through video and text messages.

You don’t need to compete with the tens of thousands of videos uploaded to Youtube on a daily basis and you get to build your list in the process..

The software is very easy to use and they’ve got a bunch of training videos that will show you how to use it with some example campaigns they’ve used to set everything up.

Mojo Matrix Review – What I Liked

One thing that I really like about Mojo Matrix is the fact that it leverages mobile marketing, which is phenomenally cheap right now.

For $.01 (read: one cent) per click, you can generate incredible traffic and crazy leads. Then, once they opt-in to your marketing funnel, or your client’s marketing funnel, they are marketed to using email and text messages. Those marketing messages are either video or normal text!

The system is brilliant in it’s simplicity and works remarkably well.

Mojo Matrix Review – What I Didn’t Like

I think video autoresponders are a few years away of catching on for traditional email users. Mobile though, is an interesting beast.

Frankly, I don’t like video autoresponder messages but I’ve used the MojoMatrix system and they work phenomenally well. I guess it just goes to show you that simply because I don’t like something, doesn’t mean that it won’t work!

Mojo Matrix is a pretty wicked piece of software that I’ve used to get some pretty awesome mobile marketing/video marketing results. It’s worth at least trying to see if it goes with your marketing mix to build lists of prospects and buyers, and to hit them on a whole different level.
