Facebook Ad Power – The New Traffic Source Is Facebook Advertising!
I just finished watching a very interesting video presentation from Ryan Deiss called Facebook Ad Power.
While I was watching it, it occurred to me that almost every demographic is represented on Facebook anymore. You have parents, kids, CEO’s, salespeople, skateboarders, bands and everyone else you can imagine.
Ryan’s video introduces the idea of advertising on Facebook as an alternative way to getting traffic to your website that isn’t dictated by Google’s search engines or quality scores.
As you can expect, Facebook marketing has quite a learning curve. There are a lot of tips and strategies that he uses to hit home runs in his marketing.
Here’s some things that the Facebook Ad Power video covers:
- Why now is the time to start using Facebook to promote you, your products and services
- How to laser target your audience with Facebook
- How to create winning ads that fit Facebook’s terms of service
- How to create landing pages that work with Facebook ads
- Facebook bidding and budgeting strategies
- Advanced Facebook advertising strategies
There are some advantages and disadvantages to Facebook Ad Power and Facebook marketing in general.. I’m going to walk your through some of them now.
Facebook Ad Power Review – Advantages
Facebook Ad Power is the first no holds barred Facebook marketing course that I’ve seen. There are a lot of people making some pretty significant money on Facebook through CPA offers and selling their own products, and Facebook Ad Power shows you how.
The biggest advantage of Facebook Ad Power is the fact that its a standalone course. You don’t need anything else to get started marketing online or running ads through Facebook. All you do is watch the program, set up your first few ads, do your demographic targeting and tweak your campaigns! It’s a painless process.
Facebook Ad Power Review – Drawbacks
I’ll admit, I think Ryan Deiss is a pretty smart marketer. He has a way of uncovering some of the best Internet marketing techniques without really even trying.
The one thing I didn’t like about Facebook Ad Power was that it’s delivered online. Now normally, that’s ok – but these videos are pretty long. Plus, I’d like to be able to play them in meetings to train my team. Now, I know that I can just load up a webpage, but I feel a bit wrong about that. If it was a DVD, I could just put it in the DVD player!
That’s it though. Facebook Ad Power is an awesome investment. One that you’ll be able to make your money back with by the end of the day.
Facebook Ad Power Review – The Verdict
As you can see Facebook Ad Power is comprehensive and covers everything you need to take action immediately. I know I watched the course, opened up Facebook and started laying out ad campaigns. To this day, I still make money on them in some of my niche markets!

Facebook Ad Power was an awesome walkthrough on Facebook marketing. My staff learned a lot from it. I own a publishing company and have come to the conclusion that Facebook ads are the future of marketing online.
We’ve tried everything from PPC to banner ads to SEO and nothing has touched the results we’ve seen with Facebook ads.
One caveat though – Facebook ads have more stringent guidelines than you might assume. If you’re not going to buy Facebook ad power, make sure you read the terms of service very carefully. Facebook, although not as ’slap happy’ as Google, still has a penchant for ‘invading the friends’ circle as Perry Belcher and Ryan Deiss go over in the training.
Overall, I was happy with the Facebook Ad Power. My staff was too..

Quantum Publishing
I’m happy you liked Facebook Ad Power Brian. What kind of ads are your running? For your authors? What kind of publishing do you do?
You’re right about the TOS being pretty stringent for Facebook marketing too. Before I saw the ad power videos, I had some campaigns that were booted because I had some direct linking going on.
My husband has been thinking about getting Facebook Ad Power. You’d recommend it? He’s a real estate developer who’s published an ebook and is working on getting it on the Kindle right now. Is Facebook marketing a good route to go?
Hey Marge! Facebook Ad Power would be perfect for him actually. What niche is his ebook targeting? Developers? House Flipping? Home staging? I might be able to give you some tips.. But yeah, facebook marketing would be a good fit for him.
Does Facebook Ad Power teach you about affiliate marketing with Facebook? Or is it just the marketing piece?
Ummm.. Good question! Facebook Ad Power teaches you about Facebook marketing – namely how to put your ads on Facebook, how to target them, how to monitor them… And also how to make money with them.
Now, the making money part is your choice. They walk you through making money through affiliate products and also your own products… I guess what I’m trying to say is that Facebook Ad Power is geared to anyone who’s got something to sell, whether they own it or not…
I hope that answers your question :0)
