I just finished watching a very interesting video presentation from Ryan Deiss called Facebook Ad Power.
While I was watching it, it occurred to me that almost every demographic is represented on Facebook anymore. You have parents, kids, CEO’s, salespeople, skateboarders, bands and everyone else you can imagine.
Ryan’s video introduces the idea of advertising on Facebook as an alternative way to getting traffic to your website that isn’t dictated by Google’s search engines or quality scores.
As you can expect, Facebook marketing has quite a learning curve. There are a lot of tips and strategies that he uses to hit home runs in his marketing.
Facebook Ad Power Review – What Is It?
One thing I like about Ryan Deiss’ products is that the videos are usually pretty good. If you want to watch it, click on the image below:
Back to the review, I’ve gone through a lot of Facebook marketing products in the last 6 months, trying to learn it and implement it for my clients. Facebook Ad Power being one of them.
Here are some of the biggest takeaways from FBadpower:
- Why Facebook is an incredible platform for generating leads and sales
- Where Facebook advertising is going in the next few years
- How to make sure that you’re not paying to much per lead or per sale
- How to laser target your audience with Facebook
- How to create winning ads that fit Facebook’s terms of service
- How to create landing pages that work with Facebook ads
- Facebook bidding and budgeting strategies
- Advanced Facebook advertising strategies like lead generation, affiliate marketing, etc.
It’s a very complete course, as are most of Ryan Deiss’. It’s all delivered in video, audio and downloads.
Facebook Ad Power Review – What I Liked
Facebook Ad Power is the first ‘complete’ fb advertising course I’ve seen. Like I said, I’ve bought a lot of stuff that was subpar and I took a lot away from it. Most of the courses that people are selling show you how to do one element well, like increase likes on your fanpage.. This one is pretty complete.
Another thing I liked quite a lot was the fact that all the audio is downloadable so I don’t have to sit in front of the computer to learn this stuff. I can throw it on my phone or my iPad and listen to it in the car.
Facebook Ad Power Review – What I Didn’t Like
I’ll admit, I think Ryan Deiss is a pretty smart marketer. He has a way of uncovering some of pretty awesome Internet marketing techniques without really even trying.
One thing I didn’t like was the fact that Facebook Ad Power doesn’t cover a lot of fan page stuff. So, in my business, Facebook pages are a big deal (working with offline clients). If I set up a business page and want it to get lots and lots of likes, I’m limited. I would think that I could bolster some of those likes by doing paid advertising, but I don’t know any good techniques.
Since this is actually version 2.0 of Facebook Ad Power, he probably included a module like that but I haven’t seen it for myself. If not, it’s ok, it just would be nice. All in all, I really did like the product.
Facebook Ad Power Review – Overall Thoughts
Facebook Ad Power is a comprehensive course that covers everything you need to take action immediately. I know I watched the course, opened up Facebook and started laying out ad campaigns. To this day, I still make money on them in some of my niche markets and it’s one more thing I can sell to my offline folks!
