I just finished up with Ryan Deiss’ Traffic And Conversion Summit in Houston, TX and one of the people I met there was none other than Kate Buck, the social media guru who basically hands over her whole business model in Let’s Get Social.
Over the past year, Kate Buck has really come into her own as a social media manager. A social media manager (or social media virtual assistant) is someone who manages social media marketing for businesses and clients so that they don’t have to waste hours and hours on Facebook and Twitter, trying to pick up new clients and form new partnerships…
With that being said, Kate Buck is this pink haired chick who has an incredible personality that lights up a room. I say that because we were all drinking beers together and there were more than a few instances that she’d magically become the center of attention.
Enough of that though. Let’s get started with our Let’s Get Social Review.
Let’s Get Social Review – What Is It?
Let’s Get Social covers everything you’ll need to get into social media marketing effectively. It’s positioned as a course that you use to make money by BEING a social media manager, but I use it to train my people on how to effectively manage my company’s social media profiles…
Either way, it’s an awesome value.
In total, there are 6 modules to Lets’ Get Social:
- Introduction
- Branding You
- Service Offerings
- Doing the Work
- Finding Clients
- Nuts & Bolts
The course includes a ton of demo videos, checklists, resource links, and all that fun stuff.

Let’s Get Social Review – What I Liked
Let’s Get Social is positioned to be a make money online course, but the true value is in the actual ‘how to do social marketing’ techniques. You can buy the course and hand it off to one of your assistants or to your marketing department and get them started on maintaining your social media presence for you.
That’s what I like about it really. You can use the social media management stuff for your own business or you can start doing it for other businesses! Either way, you win.
Let’s Get Social Review – What I Didn’t Like
I didn’t like that there wasn’t a membership area or a forum on Let’s Get Social. I really think that it would be awesome to network with other social media managers and social media professionals who were doing this kind of stuff in a brand-centric sense. Hopefully, they build something like that in over the course of the next few months.
EDIT: On the relaunch of Let’s Get Social, I noticed that they did put something like that in place!

Lets Get Social is an awesome course. The one thing that I wished it would do more with is getting clients.
Getting offline clients is an altogether different beast than working with Internet leads… It takes a certain finesse.
The bonus I want to offer is none other than Client Crusher, an offline marketing client-getting course that I put together. In it, you’ll get:
- Over 3 hours of video walking you through everything from getting your first client to getting referrals and closing the big dog, $2,000/month clients
- The Client Crusher PDF which details 10 specific strategies for picking up clients in an ‘introvert-friendly’ way. No cold calling. No belly to belly sales. No weird sales pitch to people you barely know.
After all, I’m an introvert. I’ve had to learn this stuff on my own. There is no hard nosed pitching or any of that. Best yet, the client-getting techniques that are covered in Client Crusher are PERFECT for Lets Get Social.
So, you get Client Crusher Advanced for free if you purchase Let’s Get Social through my link below:

Jest send your receipt to: bonushub@gmail.com and I’ll make sure to get you all set up with Client Crusher!
Let’s Get Social Review – Conclusion
I really loved Let’s Get Social. I thought it was a straight forward social media manager course, unlike anything else on the market. Having met Kate Buck, I know that she’s an awesome person who really values her customers and the feedback they give her. So if you’re looking for a resource to get your social media manager up to speed, or a way of generating A LOT of extra income in a work at home fashion, Let’s Get Social is an awesome resource!
