I love buttons. Especially when they help you and your readers share your content. But one thing that has driven me nuts is how long they took to load.
I just got an email from Arthur telling us about their service – Tell A Friend. The Tell A Friend button is a nice addition to any site – especially one that has dramatic, viral type content. It’s a quick add on which will allow you to spread the word pretty quickly, whether by email, social networking profile, or through your blog.

Yeah, I’ve heard of it but haven’t given it a try… maybe I’ll give it a spin sometime but I’m tired of adding all this crap to my site, I want a clean less bloated feel. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve looked through their site and the watched the video, but I couldn’t find the answer to one question: would this require users of the ‘tell a friend’ function to enter login data? Say I add this to my site and someone wants to use it. Would he or she be required to enter his or her login to gmail, facebook and other sites?

Nice button and service. I’ll have to clear up some real estate on my blogs.
Excellent post
Great post. Great button. I am going for it right now. Thanks for the post
I’m working now on a little plugin that will cache share buttons serverside for each client and use less resources both client and server side!
(Yes I agree they take a long time to load that is why im making such a plugin, so it is it for wordpress, typepad, blogger, and atom)
