Social Media Vs. Traditional Marketing = Interruption Vs. Participation
Social media marketing on the other hand doesn’t work like the traditional marketing. There is no interruption involved. You either participate and market your product, service or content or you just let it go. You can’t just go ahead and promote your products like the traditional marketing. Social media marketing requires an element of being social with that particular social media platform community. Like I talked about in my earlier post, if you want to promote your product through Amazon through reviews, its easy to do. But you can’t just go ahead and leave links to your products or website. You have to participate and be a part of that particular community and promote your services without any interruption.
Social media is about being social and social media marketing is all about marketing with participation.

thanks for pointing that out. Its fixed
Doesn’t social media come out from traditional media? I mean, you’ll have to “make an interruption” and then from there start opening a communications’ line.. No?
An organization requires traditional and social media….or can it start off with just social marketing? Going on YouTube, Facebook and allowing viewers to involve themselves…but then you’d have to interrupt them for them to know about a youtube channel……..
I’m still confused on the how you can implement social media…
