Quite a lot of the time, we take it for granted that all of you know what we’re talking about when we reference Internet marketing and the things that go into it. The problem is, a lot of offline people and college students don’t have a clue.
So one of the things I did over the weekend was record a powerpoint/screencast describing Internet marketing in better detail. It talks about the big three, search engine optimization, pay per click, and social media marketing.
It was actually done for a college class that I was asked to speak in, but wasn’t able to attend. So I talked through some of my marketing thoughts in a two part video session…
I’ll post the second half tomorrow! It’s a session talking through parts on the Internet – places that you can see Internet marketing at work..

You hit the nail on the head with this video, without a doubt.
It’s interesting to look around at all of the businesses offering “internet marketing services”, but when you ask them what it is that they do (exactly) they usually don’t know how to respond.
Also: the floating ad on MarketingHackz is incredibly annoying.
You should link to traffickd.com more often.
LOL.. I was playing around with the SH-autolink plugin.. You don’t realize how much certain terms come up until you take a good look at the post.. It’s disabled now. Was bothering me too.
