Great article. I love the wonderfully blended mix of business and blogging so much that I created SmallBlogging.com to help small businesses leverage blogging technology to grow their business.

I really enjoyed your note about visitors to a blog are the best leads to introduce a new product or service to. I couldn’t agree more. This is the foundation of my entire strategy which I go into detail at SmallBlogging.com.

Thanks for the great content.

we were one of the first art galleries in the UK to utilies a blog and started blogging in 2006. It's only been in the last 6 to 12 months that more and more art gallery blogs are now springing up and following suit.

They are indeed a great way to get your press releases out there and to a much wider audience. You can also include alot more information than what you would normally include on a release to the press.

In many cases our blog and links to the blog are higher ranked than our main site on search engines, so having many easy links to our main site from the blog is of the upmost importance.
