Thanks for these useful tips.

I am fairly new to PPC marketing. Was surprised just how involved it can be when I started doing it.

I haven’t yet tried Adwords, because I think it’s best to be quite experienced before starting with a campaign there. (Have heard it’s quite easy to lose a lot of money quickly if you don’t quite know what you are doing.)

However, I have run a few campaigns on the smaller contextual PPC networks like Bidvertiser, Clicksor and Adtoll. These have gone well, and I’m learning all the time.

One of the advantages of using these smaller sites is that they don’t require big deposits (you can get started with 20 bucks) so you can learn at your own pace with little risk.
