It is essential once in a while to get out on the web and browse for related articles. We decided a couple weeks ago that we should be doing link round up as everybody else and here is our fresh batch of second link round up.
Today’s links are geared towards two aspects of marketing - Traditional and Online. As we were trying to see what others have to say about the differences and effectiveness of these two forms of marketing, we were able to grab 10 links that we think you will enjoy. Most of these links talk in favor of online marketing, but since we are old timers when it comes to marketing, we decided to throw in one link that talks in favor of traditional marketing.
If you have any links on this subject please feel free to post the link on your comments.
We hope you are finding these link round ups interesting. Here it is - Traditional Marketing and Online Marketing
- Why Companies Shouldn’t Rely On Traditional Marketing - When compared to traditional marketing strategies, (i.e. Outdoor, TV, Radio, Trade Shows, and Direct Mail) Internet marketing accomplishes all four goals with the added capability of allowing buyers to finalize the purchasing process by placing an order online.
- Can Online Marketing Replace Traditional Marketing - …generally online marketing and promotion is geared towards the widespread Internet community on a national or global basis.
- Essential Non-Traditional Marketing Method - Use trade shows and organizational displays to your advantage. If you exhibit anywhere, be sure your Web site address is prominent and on everything you hand out. - What is The Future of Traditional Marketing - When the world shifts gears and operates in a faster pace, it is advisable for us also to follow its lead and take up the trend. I think that depending on the type of business or service that you offer, you will either need to do online marketing or traditional marketing.
For most companies, I would say that having an online prescense definitely helps.
But for a large number of websites, I think that traditional marketing would not be worth the time. Take for example traffic exchange websites - I don’t really think that you would be seeing a billboard anywhere that would be marketing one - most people in the “real” world wouldn’t need it.
So, both marketing types definitely have their uses - but depending on your situation, they may or may not be effective for you.
